  • There are three parts of our subdivision:  Catatoga, Catatoga II, and Catatoga III.  Each carries with it its own set of covenants and restrictions as filed with Kane County by the original developer.  
CATATOGA & CATATOGA II
  • Homeowners in Catatoga and Catatoga II are under no obligation to any association, nor do they have a binding covenant to any land in the Greenbelt.  They may, however, choose to join the Catatoga Property Owners Association on a voluntary basis to support the care and maintenance of lots 92, 93, and 94 found in the Plat of Subdivision of Catatoga II.
CATATOGA III
  • Only homeowners in Catatoga III are Obligated Members of the Catatoga III Natural Habitat & Wetlands, Inc.  This is NOT a Condominium or Homeowner's Association and is not subject to Illinois Statutes related to those type of organizations.  Catatoga III Natural Habitat & Wetlands, Inc. is a Not-for-Profit, governed under the General Not-For-Profit Act of 1986.  We have Corporate Bylaws that govern the Board and the organization's property.  
  • We are governed by and act in accordance with the bylaws of the corporation, as well as all local, state, and federal regulatory organizations that may have oversight of the Greenbelt, Fitchie Creek, and the wetlands it contains.   Members are responsible for the maintenance and preservation  "the Greenbelt"  comprised of lots 105, 106, and 107, on the Catatoga III Plat of Subdivision by virtue of a deeded covenant.
