- From time to time, the board receives calls or emails about issues not directly related to the lots 105, 106, & 107. As we are not a homeowners' association, the Catatoga III NHW has no capacity to intervene in such cases. Our organization exists only to maintain and preserve the open space parcels 105, 106, & 107 on the Catatoga III Plat of Subdivision.
- Any disputes or concerns related to violations of the covenants or restrictions assigned to each of the Catatgoas (1, 2, & 3), must be addressed by homeowners as a private, civil matter directly with Kane County or a formal complaint/legal action filed by one homeowner against another.
- Please note Catatoga 1 and Catatoga 2 are a part of Elgin Township and school district U-46.
- Please note Catatoga 3 is a part of Plato Township and school district CUSD 301.
- Please check with your local supervisor of elections to verify your District representation at the state level as the subdivisions are split between different districts.

Elgin Township (Catatoga 1 & 2) and Plato Township (Catatoga 3) follow the same Kane County burning regulations. Please click on the Kane County link for detailed information. Kane County Burning Regulation | Dogs in Kane County must be kept on a leash at all times, as per Article IV, 5-9 of the Animal Control ordinance. If the dog is contained within your yard, and the dog was found in an unincorporated area of the county, you may call KCAC at 630-232-3555 to arrange a pickup or drop-off of the animal.
