Why Virtual Meetings?During the pandemic in 2020, we began holding our monthly meetings via a virtual teleconference software called "ZOOM". A poll of the membership participating in the 2021 Annual Meeting revealed the majority of members wished to continue virtual meetings over trying to re-establish in-person meetings. Feedback from the membership stated that virtual meetings allowed the convenience of participating from home, via phone, and from any location, eliminating the need to travel to a location, find childcare, or add travel time to the meeting. Our monthly board meetings and other special meetings called by the board will be held via a virtual software program called "ZOOM". It is very easy to use by simply clicking on a link for a meeting and following the prompts on your screen.
You must download ZOOM onto your computer, tablet, or phone prior to being able to utilize the software. A "How To" Video is featured here. Follow the same instructions as used for the e-mail invitation.
